If you usually eat fried fish at Easter, learn how to make this delicious fish cake at home with no fuss.

You need: 2 kg fish fillets (Corvina, Dorado), 750 g boiled potatoes cut into long slices, 1 cup seasoning sauce (garlic, onion, paprika, chili), 1 cup milk, 4 beaten eggs, 1 cup breadcrumbs, toasted and grated, salt and pepper .

First, the meat must be “macerated” with salt and pepper. You can also prepare the sauce, if you have already prepared it, leave it with the garlic, onion, peppers and chili. You take a container in which you pour eggs, with milk, salt and pepper. You will reserve this preparation to put between the layers of the fishcake.

Now take an ovenproof dish, take a portion of the meat and add a layer of potatoes, but between layers add the beaten egg mixture and repeat until you have all the ingredients. When finished preparing, cover the last layer with breadcrumbs, with this layer it can be “golden” as if au gratin.

A trick to baking in the oven is that you can put some aluminum foil on the cake so that it can cook well without burning the top. They cook the fish cake for about 30 minutes at 300C and when golden it’s done.

You can accompany me “petacones” plantains, with salt and garlic, which is delicious, or with a tossed tropical salad that will add a fresh and delicious flavor to your fishcake.

Another salad that’s easy to combine is one with lettuce, tomatoes and onions, add a squeeze of lemon juice, pepper and fresh parsley or, if you prefer, a dressing to combine This salad will be a great start for this cake. Do you measure yourself to prepare it at home?
